A quick and easy summer party drink combining fresh strawberries, tangy lemonade, and smooth vodka for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing punch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 ½ cups vodka (about 360 ml)
  • 4 cups fresh lemonade (about 950 ml)
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling water (about 475 ml)
  • ½ cup simple syrup (optional, about 120 ml)
  • Ice cubes (enough to fill punch bowl or pitcher)
  • Fresh mint leaves (a handful, optional)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 2 cups of fresh strawberries, remove stems, and slice thinly. Keep a few whole strawberries for garnish.
  2. Place half of the sliced strawberries in a punch bowl or pitcher. Gently muddle with a muddler or back of a wooden spoon to release juice without making a puree.
  3. Add 4 cups of fresh lemonade and 1 ½ cups of vodka to the bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Taste the punch and add simple syrup 1 tablespoon at a time if additional sweetness is desired.
  5. Slowly pour in 2 cups of club soda or sparkling water and stir gently.
  6. Fill the punch bowl or pitcher with ice cubes. Add remaining sliced strawberries, fresh mint leaves, and lemon slices for garnish. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to meld flavors.
  7. Ladle the punch into tall glasses filled with ice, ensuring each glass gets some muddled fruit and garnish.

Notes

[‘Do not over-muddle strawberries to avoid cloudy punch.’, ‘Adjust sweetness gradually by tasting before adding simple syrup.’, ‘Keep punch cold by adding ice just before serving or use frozen fruit as ice cubes.’, ‘Use a quality vodka like Tito’s for best flavor.’, ‘Prepare punch base ahead and add club soda, ice, and garnishes just before serving to keep fizz fresh.’, ‘Avoid lemonades with pulp or sediment for a clear punch.’]
