A quick and easy 3-ingredient frozen drink that balances tart lime and sweet cherry flavors for a refreshing summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups ice cubes (crushed ice works best)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) cherry syrup

Instructions

  1. Squeeze about 1/4 cup (60 ml) of fresh lime juice. Measure 1/3 cup (80 ml) of cherry syrup. Have about 2 cups (480 ml) of ice cubes ready.
  2. Add the ice cubes to your blender. Pulse several times until the ice is finely crushed but not melted, aiming for a fluffy, snow-like texture.
  3. Pour the lime juice and cherry syrup over the crushed ice.
  4. Blend on high for about 20-30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and well combined. The texture should be thick and icy, not liquidy or slushy.
  5. Taste and adjust: if too tart, add a teaspoon of sweetener like simple syrup or honey; if too thick, add a splash of cold water or sparkling water to loosen.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with lime slices or cherries if desired. Serve with a straw.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Crush ice properly by pulsing in the blender to avoid overheating. Serve immediately for best icy texture. Chilling glasses beforehand enhances the refreshing experience. Adjust sweetness to taste.
