A spooky, fizzy, and creamy Halloween punch made with orange sherbet, ginger ale, and orange juice. Ready in under 5 minutes with simple ingredients, it’s perfect for parties and kid-approved.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 quart orange sherbet (e.g., Breyers)
  • 4 cups ginger ale, chilled (e.g., Canada Dry or Schweppes)
  • 2 cups orange juice, chilled (e.g., Simply Orange)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
  • Orange slices, candy eyeballs, gummy worms (optional garnishes)

Instructions

  1. Chill the ginger ale and orange juice for at least 2 hours before serving.
  2. Soften the orange sherbet at room temperature for 5-10 minutes until scoopable.
  3. Pour the chilled orange juice into a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser.
  4. Slowly pour the chilled ginger ale against the side of the bowl to preserve carbonation.
  5. Stir gently with a long-handled spoon to combine.
  6. Scoop 6-8 large spoonfuls of orange sherbet into the punch. Let float on top.
  7. Let the punch sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the sherbet to melt and create swirls.
  8. Add ice ring or large ice cubes if desired.
  9. Garnish with orange slices, candy eyeballs, or gummy worms. Serve immediately with a ladle and punch cups.

Notes

Best served fresh within 30 minutes. For a dairy-free version, swap orange sherbet with dairy-free orange sorbet or coconut-based orange cream bars. For an adult version, add 1 cup vodka or light rum. Make an ice ring with orange slices and candy eyes to keep punch cold without diluting.
