This easy candy corn popcorn bark comes together in just 15 minutes with simple ingredients like popcorn, candy corn, and white chocolate. It’s the perfect quick and delicious fall treat for Halloween parties, movie nights, or any time you need a sweet snack without the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1 standard bag of microwave popcorn, or air-popped)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup roasted peanuts (optional)
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries (optional)
  • ¼ cup mini pretzel twists (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your popcorn: Pop 1 bag of microwave popcorn according to package directions. Let it cool for a minute, then open the bag and remove any unpopped kernels. Spread the popcorn out on a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper in an even layer.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips and ¼ cup salted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes total.
  3. Combine the ingredients: Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the popcorn on the baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 cup candy corn evenly over the top. If using any optional add-ins like peanuts, pretzels, or dried cranberries, add them now.
  4. Mix and spread: Using a spatula, gently fold everything together until the popcorn and candy corn are evenly coated with chocolate. Spread the mixture into an even layer, pressing down slightly.
  5. Set the bark: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm. If in a hurry, you can pop it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes instead.
  6. Break into pieces: Once set, remove the bark from the fridge. Use your hands or a sharp knife to break it into irregular pieces.

Notes

Use lightly salted or plain popcorn to avoid greasiness. Melt white chocolate in short bursts to prevent burning. For best texture, serve the day it’s made. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top for a sweet-salty contrast.
