Easy 4th of July Red White Blue No-Bake Patriotic Parfaits

A quick and festive no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, blueberries, and crunchy granola, perfect for summer gatherings and patriotic celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (475 ml) Greek yogurt (plain full-fat or vanilla)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey (or maple syrup/agave nectar)
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (100 g) granola (lightly sweetened oat granola recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 2 cups (475 ml) of Greek yogurt with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract if using. Stir gently but thoroughly until smooth and slightly fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  2. Hull and slice 1 cup (150 g) of strawberries. Rinse 1 cup (150 g) of blueberries and pat dry (about 5 minutes).
  3. Grab clear glasses or jars. Start with about 2 tablespoons (30 g) of granola at the bottom for a crunchy base.
  4. Spoon in about 3 tablespoons (45 g) of the yogurt mixture over the granola and smooth gently.
  5. Place a layer of sliced strawberries (about 3 tablespoons or 45 g) on top of the yogurt.
  6. Add another 2 tablespoons (30 g) of granola, then 3 tablespoons (45 g) of yogurt, and finally top with blueberries (3 tablespoons or 45 g) to finish the layers.
  7. Chill the parfaits in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld and granola soften slightly without losing crunch.
  8. Just before serving, garnish each parfait with a small sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

To keep granola crunchy, store it separately and add just before serving. If yogurt mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk (dairy or plant-based) to loosen. Use firm, ripe berries for best texture and flavor. Frozen berries can be used if thawed and drained well. For dairy-free, swap Greek yogurt with unsweetened coconut or almond yogurt and honey with maple syrup.
