A quick and easy creamy fruit dip made with marshmallow fluff and cream cheese, perfect for parties and pairing with fresh fruit or crunchy dippers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 7 oz (200 g) marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp (3045 ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Fresh fruit for dipping (strawberries, apple slices, bananas, pineapple chunks, grapes)
  • Optional: 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before starting.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated and the dip is light and fluffy.
  4. Slowly add milk, 2 to 3 tablespoons, to loosen the dip to a creamy, dippable consistency. Add more milk a teaspoon at a time if needed.
  5. If desired, stir in lemon zest or cinnamon gently with a spatula to blend without deflating the fluff.
  6. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to firm up slightly.
  7. While chilling, wash and slice fresh fruit for dipping.
  8. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and arrange fruit around it for serving.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing. Avoid overmixing to keep the dip fluffy. If cream cheese is too cold, microwave in 5-second bursts to soften. Adjust powdered sugar to taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; stir in milk before serving if thickened.
