- Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
- Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, about 2-4 minutes.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
- Fold in the funfetti sprinkles carefully to distribute evenly without melting or bleeding color.
- Cover and chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Soften cream cheese well to avoid lumps. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks only to prevent graininess. Fold sprinkles in last and chill promptly to prevent color bleeding. Can substitute coconut cream and vegan cream cheese for dairy-free version. Store covered in fridge up to 3 days. Not recommended to freeze.
