This cranberry orange glazed turkey breast is a quick and easy 5-ingredient recipe that turns an ordinary evening into something special. The sweet-tart glaze caramelizes on the outside, locking in moisture for tender, juicy meat that will convert even the biggest turkey skeptics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (2.5 to 3 lb) boneless, skin-on turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take the turkey breast out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Pat the turkey breast completely dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the orange marmalade and fresh cranberries. Place over medium heat and stir occasionally as the marmalade melts and the cranberries start to pop. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until the cranberries have softened and the mixture has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and let cool for a minute.
  3. Place the turkey breast in a 9×13-inch baking dish, skin side up. Drizzle with olive oil and rub all over the skin and underside. Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper evenly over all sides.
  4. Using a basting brush, generously paint the cranberry orange glaze all over the top and sides of the turkey breast. If using rosemary, tuck the sprigs into the dish around the turkey.
  5. Roast for about 25 minutes. Carefully remove the dish from the oven and baste the turkey with the pan juices. Return to the oven and repeat basting every 15 minutes.
  6. The turkey is done when an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast registers 160°F (71°C). The skin should be deep, glossy golden brown, and the cranberries bursting and jammy.
  7. Remove from the oven, transfer to a cutting board, tent loosely with aluminum foil, and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with pan juices and roasted cranberries spooned over the top.

Notes

Pat the turkey skin completely dry for crispy skin. Pull the turkey at 160°F; carryover cooking will bring it to 165°F. If the glaze browns too quickly, tent with foil. For extra crispy skin, broil for the last 10 minutes, watching carefully.
