A quick and easy frozen peach margarita with a spicy Tajín rim, perfect for summer gatherings and solo unwinding. This cocktail blends fresh peaches, tequila, lime, and triple sec into a smooth, slushy treat with a zesty twist.

  • 2 large fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce (15 ml) simple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1½ cups (360 ml) ice cubes
  • Tajín seasoning for rimming glasses
  • Coarse salt (optional, mixed with Tajín for the rim)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glasses: Pour Tajín seasoning onto a small plate. Mix with coarse salt if desired. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip rims into the Tajín mixture. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine peeled and sliced peaches, tequila blanco, fresh lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup. Blend for about 10 seconds to combine.
  3. Add ice cubes to the blender. Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and slushy. Adjust texture by adding water or more lime juice if too thick, or more ice if too thin.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup or lime juice and blending briefly.
  5. Pour the margarita into prepared glasses. Garnish with a lime wheel or thin peach slice on the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Adjust ice quantity to achieve desired slushy texture. If margarita sits too long, pulse in blender to refresh. Ripe but firm peaches prevent mushy texture. Tajín rim adds a spicy, smoky contrast to sweetness. For mocktail, substitute tequila and triple sec with peach sparkling water and extra lime juice.
