Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit, diced
  • 1 medium ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) apple juice
  • 12 teaspoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mango into 1-inch chunks. If using fresh dragon fruit, peel and dice similarly; frozen works best.
  2. Add frozen dragon fruit, diced mango, fresh lime juice, and apple juice to a high-speed blender. Add honey or agave syrup if desired.
  3. Add 1 cup of ice cubes (crushed ice preferred for quicker blending).
  4. Blend starting on low speed, gradually increasing to high until smooth and creamy with no large chunks. Adjust thickness by adding more juice or ice as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice if necessary, then pulse once more to mix.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Freeze dragon fruit ahead to keep smoothie icy without watering down. Use fresh lime juice for brighter flavor. Blend in stages to avoid overloading blender. For layered look, blend dragon fruit and ice first, pour half, then blend mango separately and layer gently.
