A quick and easy creamy nice cream bowl made with frozen bananas and fresh raspberries, perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you want a light, refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium frozen bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, thawed)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (60 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice 3 medium ripe bananas into 1/2-inch pieces. Freeze them for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Place the frozen banana slices into your blender or food processor along with 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend on high until creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as needed (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add 1 tablespoon maple syrup and 1 tablespoon chia seeds (if using). Blend again for 30 seconds to mix evenly.
  4. Rinse 1 cup fresh raspberries gently under cold water and pat dry. Reserve a few for garnish.
  5. Spoon the creamy banana nice cream into a freezer-safe bowl. Top generously with fresh raspberries and a few mint leaves.
  6. Serve immediately for soft-serve texture or chill in the freezer for 15-30 minutes for a firmer consistency.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for sweetness. Freeze banana slices flat to prevent clumping. Pulse frozen bananas first before blending continuously. Add almond milk slowly to avoid soupy texture. Chill serving bowls to keep nice cream cold longer. If blender struggles, let bananas thaw 2-3 minutes before blending. Serve immediately for soft-serve texture or freeze briefly for firmer texture.
